What will I do?
Assisting the Operations Manager, you’ll manage the production operations and staff within the production area. Driving operational performance through staff to deliver the required outputs throughout shifts will form a key aspect of the role.
You’ll have to ensure that if outputs are not achieved correct action is taken in order to match the output levels without detriment to the product. Identifying skill deficiencies within your time is an important aspect of the post and delivering training regimes in order to improve skill levels.
The position covers 6 key areas; Operations, KPI’s, Continuous Improvement, People, Environment and Health & Safety.
What skills/ experience do I need?
- Experience operating at a relevant managerial level within a fast-paced environment
- Strong people management skills
- Consumer and consumer orientated
- Numerate and possessing good analytical skills, with experience of working with production statistics, variances, KPI’s, etc.
