Our clients are a privately owned construction firm based in Northern Ireland, with over 20+ years’ experience in delivering projects throughout various sectors.
Project dotted throughout the UK and ROI, including Care Homes, Hotels, and one-off Residential Builds. You will get the full 360° of the Construction Sector.
Day to Day:
- Management and supervision of direct labour and sub-contractors.
- Assist in recording and testing of workmanship and materials.
- Provide engineering support to ensure technical problems are overcome and technical queries are answered.
- Take a pro-active approach to managing health and safety on site.
- Co-ordinate and supervise temporary works as required.
- Implement a regime of test and inspection plans for all works on site.
- Planning and scheduling works in conjunction with client, local authority and staff.
- Attendance at client, stakeholder and internal meetings.
- Measuring of works and ensuring accurate submission of records.
- Effective monitoring of commercial performance of work streams and supply chain in conjunction with the project commercial team.
Experience:
- Experienced Site Manager with 5+ years’ experience on Commercial Builds.
- Site management qualifications, valid CSR card and First aid certificate.
- Experience of site supervision of engineering teams and sub-contractors.
- Knowledge of contract requirements, correct specifications and standards to ensure the highest quality of work presented to the client.
- Excellent communication skills and able to engage with stakeholders at varying levels.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise.
- UK Driving Licence, be able to travel with the role to the UK.
