An excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented Production Engineer to oversee fabrication projects from design through to delivery. The role involves managing materials, schedules, and customer communications while providing technical expertise in fabrication processes and design.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage material ordering, inventory, and supplier coordination.
• Act as main customer contact, ensuring clear communication and project alignment.
• Support product design and development, ensuring manufacturability and cost efficiency.
• Create and modify 3D CAD models (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar).
• Plan and coordinate production schedules to meet deadlines.
• Lead process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost control.
• Provide technical support and problem-solving during production.
Requirements:
• Proven experience in a fabrication/manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of welding, machining, cutting, and assembly processes.
• Proficient in CAD and 3D modelling software.
• Skilled in production scheduling, material management, and project coordination.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented, adaptable, and able to work both independently and in a team.
