Accounts Administrator

Hours: 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday
Holidays: 34 days (including public holidays)

The Opportunity

Reactive Recruitment are delighted to be working with a leading private healthcare business to recruit an experienced Accounts Administrator. This is an excellent opportunity to join a professional and supportive team in a growing organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage sales and purchase ledgers, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Prepare and issue invoices, reconcile payments, and manage credit control
  • Follow up on overdue accounts and resolve payment queries
  • Process purchase invoices, prepare payment runs, and resolve discrepancies
  • Produce debtor, creditor, and cash flow reports for management
  • Support month-end and year-end procedures

Candidate Requirements

Essential:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in an accounts/credit control role
  • Strong understanding of sales and purchase ledgers and cashflow management
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. Xero) and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills

Desirable:

  • Experience in healthcare or medical accounts
  • Familiarity with medical insurance processes
  • IT or accounting qualifications
